Volunteer Work Libya

Since the fall of Muammar al-Gaddafi, the hopes of a new dawn in Libya have failed to materialise with much of the country and its population centred in the major towns, having fallen into chaos with factionalised terror groups vying for power in the fragmented and fractured state further compounded by the paramilitary group Wagner, known for its mercenary activities, taking on a new avatar under Russian intelligence services strengthening Russia's presence in the country with deadly ongoing clashes between political factions in the capital, Tripol. As such, there are very few volunteer opportunities in what was and should be a very prosperous country with a well-educated population. What volunteer work there is at present focuses on delivering humanitarian aid particularly in Benghazi and Tripoli where hundreds have fled intense fighting and sought refuge in schools and other buildings.
